A obra de arte aborda o aspecto negligenciado da saúde mental em adolescentes e é inspirada em seu amigo Dean. The artwork addresses the overlooked aspect of mental health in teenage boys and is inspired by his friend Dean. De 4.000 inscrições, Connor é um dos 70 finalistas do concurso que convida artistas de 5 a 18 anos a enviarem um retrato de alguém especial para eles. Out of 4000 entries, Connor is one of 70 finalists for the competition inviting artists aged 5-18 to submit a portrait of someone special to them. Connor também foi finalista do concurso Young Archie na Goulburn Regional Art Gallery e ganhou o Portrait Prize deste ano no Oxley College. Connor has also been a finalist in the Young Archie competition at the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery and won this year's Portrait Prize at Oxley College. A exposição Young Archie vai até 8 de setembro, com os vencedores anunciados em 27 de julho. The Young Archie exhibition runs until September 8, with winners announced on July 27.
